Altay Bayındır showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torbjørn Trondsen in the 22nd minute of the match. The throw-in from Niklas Hägglund in the 23rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ŦɚȠɚʁ ɃȃҤ₠ ►eryx◄™'s Ali Erdem Çetintürk. 25 minutes into the match, Deportivo Popolizio FBC's goal looked a bit too open when Bahri Paker came free, but Hermann Hesse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Erruki Velarroa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Altay Bayındır. That made the score 1-1 after 31 minutes of play.
