With an extended leg and a bit of luck João Francisco Lucas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Larry Hallam in the 92nd minute of play forced Globo Juniors's goalkeeper João Francisco Lucas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute, Sidney Attenborough hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Globo Juniors succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Andorra had controlled the match.
