Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Monks in Robes's Sune Heidal started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Dan Vøge reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bøje Dyssen. The goal made the score 1-0. After 8 played minutes U21 Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Stor Back. After having played for 9 minutes, Sune Heidal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monks in Robes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sune Heidal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 14 minutes into the match, U21 Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Sune Heidal came free, but Einar Klysnov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. U21 Denmark's Dan Vøge got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Monks in Robes's Yin Chen Ling got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 23rd match minute, Monks in Robes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walmir Braga to maneuver through the defense. Dan Vøge blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bøje Dyssen having to make a save. With a little luck, Monks in Robes's Bøje Dyssen got control of the ball when Dan Vøge tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 28thth minute of the game Sune Heidal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U21 Denmark's Einar Klysnov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 34th minute, Sune Heidal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Monks in Robes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sune Heidal in the 37th minute of play forced U21 Denmark's goalkeeper Einar Klysnov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Monks in Robes's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Yao Chao Feng in the 40th minute. The supporters of Monks in Robes booed when U21 Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stor Back didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dan Vøge to strike the kick off in the second half. Bøje Dyssen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dan Vøge in the 53rd minute of the match. The throw-in from Elvio Abalos in the 55th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by U21 Denmark's Stor Back. 58 minutes into the match, U21 Denmark's Dan Vøge sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bøje Dyssen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. U21 Denmark were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Monks in Robes's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Haakon Grenholt took the corner. Bøje Dyssen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dan Vøge's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. A collision led to U21 Denmark getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Stor Back hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Vøge in the 73rd minute of play forced Monks in Robes's goalkeeper Bøje Dyssen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, U21 Denmark's Asmus Molbo got a free kick in the 75th minute. U21 Denmark made a substitution. Kevin Jetses replaced Lennart Jungschlager. In the 77th match minute, U21 Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Asmus Molbo to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of U21 Denmark booed when Monks in Robes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yin Chen Ling didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Monks in Robes's zone, Dan Vøge stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bøje Dyssen came out of the goal and Dan Vøge tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 89th minute Monks in Robes were awarded a corner. Yao Chao Feng went to the cornerflag to take it. Reinar Lennild was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After having played for 91 minutes, Sune Heidal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monks in Robes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sune Heidal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bøje Dyssen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Vøge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes into the match, Dan Vøge had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bøje Dyssen. Monks in Robes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dan Vøge was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Monks in Robes players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for U21 Denmark.
