Decathlon Dudes's César Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrique Borges in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd match minute, Decathlon Dudes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilco Keldermans to maneuver through the defense. Wilco Keldermans who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Hugo Rodrigues when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 26th minute of the match, Wilco Keldermans got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hugo Rodrigues was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience was convinced that Henrique Borges's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but César Sousa was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wilco Keldermans made a kick off. Hugo Rodrigues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Henrique Borges fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Meninos De Cotia's protests and gave Henrique Borges a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Meninos De Cotia's Henrique Borges got a free kick in the 71st minute. Decathlon Dudes's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mathieu Van de Poel in the 74th minute. Decathlon Dudes's Mathieu Van de Poel was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hugo Rodrigues in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Wilco Keldermans's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hugo Rodrigues read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Paolo Maldini's late challenge caught a Decathlon Dudes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paolo Maldini helped the player get up and apologised. After 78 played minutes Meninos De Cotia got a freekick which was hit by Paolo Maldini. Meninos De Cotia made a substitution.
