Mamutes EC's Magno Correia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Mamutes EC from getting a goal against them. Amauri Félix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valério Meireles in the 37th minute of the match. Lejf Snefog kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Amauri Félix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dave Panno, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After 47 played minutes Mamutes EC got a freekick which was hit by Moisés Bueno. After a defensive mix-up in Mamutes EC's zone, Marcos Siqueira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Magno Correia came out of the goal and Marcos Siqueira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Tolgahan Onatkan in the 51st minute of play forced Mamutes EC's goalkeeper Magno Correia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's zone, Dave Panno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amauri Félix came out of the goal and Dave Panno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Rio Verde F.C CIMZ booed when Mamutes EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natã Miranda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valério Meireles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mamutes EC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marcos Siqueira was slow to take the kick. During this time Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Tolgahan Onatkan getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 68 minutes into the match, Mamutes EC's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias Macedo came free, but Magno Correia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute Natã Miranda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amauri Félix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Amauri Félix proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Rio Verde F.C CIMZ from getting a goal against them. Amauri Félix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natã Miranda in the 93rd minute of play. The Rio Verde F.C CIMZ supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Mamutes EC's performance. The match ended with a win for Mamutes EC.
