An unexpectedly hard shot by Vaclovas Andrulis in the 2nd minute of play forced Degerfors IF's goalkeeper Eric Ivarsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Torsten Kock's late challenge caught a Geležinis Vilkas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Torsten Kock helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Geležinis Vilkas booed when Degerfors IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torsten Kock didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eric Ivarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vaclovas Andrulis in the 4th minute of play. Eric Ivarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vidmantas Bieliauskas, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Eric Ivarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vidmantas Bieliauskas in the 14th minute of the match. Degerfors IF's Eric Ivarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vidmantas Bieliauskas in the 19th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Kristian Fogel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eitautas Pažarskis. Geležinis Vilkas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kristian Fogel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Eric Ivarsson came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Geležinis Vilkas's Vidmantas Bieliauskas. But to his dismay, Vidmantas Bieliauskas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Eitautas Pažarskis didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 37th minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. With 41 minutes on the clock, Birger Kinnman commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The supporters of Geležinis Vilkas booed when Degerfors IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Birger Kinnman didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renatas Bagdžiūnas in the 46th minute of play forced Degerfors IF's goalkeeper Eric Ivarsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th match minute, Degerfors IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torsten Kock to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Eric Ivarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vidmantas Bieliauskas in the 55th minute of the match. After 59 minutes of play, Degerfors IF's Kristian Fogel made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eitautas Pažarskis was left in no man's land by his defense there! 65 minutes into the match, Degerfors IF's goalkeeper Eric Ivarsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vidmantas Bieliauskas. Kristijonas Akunis kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Kristian Fogel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eitautas Pažarskis was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vidmantas Bieliauskas got free with Eric Ivarsson in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 77th minute, Torsten Kock ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eitautas Pažarskis was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. 80 minutes into the match, Geležinis Vilkas's goal looked a bit too open when Per-Åke Kjellqvist came free, but Eitautas Pažarskis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daugirdas Leonaitis during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 80th minute, Daugirdas Leonaitis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eric Ivarsson came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Geležinis Vilkas's Vidmantas Bieliauskas. But to his dismay, Vidmantas Bieliauskas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. With a little luck, Degerfors IF's Eric Ivarsson got control of the ball when Renatas Bagdžiūnas tried to sneak it across the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Per-Åke Kjellqvist notched a goal, 6-2, to the right of Geležinis Vilkas's Eitautas Pažarskis. Eitautas Pažarskis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lukas Örnberg's late challenge caught a Geležinis Vilkas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lukas Örnberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 90th minute, Lukas Örnberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Geležinis Vilkas getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Kristijonas Akunis hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Degerfors IF fans cheered their team off the field, for while Geležinis Vilkas had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
