Doğuhan Alpaslan thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Ken Kot, a very annoying self made goal in the 17th minute which led to 1-0. Ken Kot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Navarro in the 39th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luis Navarro in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ken Kot saved Skarpa Ełk from getting behind. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luis Navarro to make the kick off.
