Liam Appleton struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Will Goldthorpe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Staffy Terrier FC. In the 11th minute, Ross Clark hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 13 minutes, Brandon Wright made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Staffy Terrier FC's Tony Henwood tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Brandon Wright fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tony Henwood having to interfere. After 23 minutes, Ross Clark mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Heavenly Hooters and the Staffy Terrier FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ross Clark hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Nath Pointon took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Will Goldthorpe. Heavenly Hooters's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 26th minute Brandon Wright shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Henwood saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Heavenly Hooters's goal looked a bit too open when Tim Stevens came free, but Will Goldthorpe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Heavenly Hooters's Will Goldthorpe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liam Appleton in the 33rd minute of play. Will Goldthorpe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Liam Appleton in the 36th minute of the match. Tony Henwood took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aybars Demir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Liam Appleton kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Liam Appleton stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jay Flack kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. 53 minutes into the game, Tim Stevens was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Staffy Terrier FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Heavenly Hooters the free kick. In the 53rd minute, Tim Stevens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Will Goldthorpe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alastair Greenman, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. With a little luck, Heavenly Hooters's Will Goldthorpe got control of the ball when Liam Appleton tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Oakley Smith hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tony Henwood made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aybars Demir in the 70th minute of play. Brandon Wright received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Tony Henwood tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Staffy Terrier FC made a substitution. Martin Bilton replaced Jay Flack. Staffy Terrier FC's Andre Whiteley was substituted for Grant Black. In the 77th minute, Liam Appleton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Heavenly Hooters made a substitution. Jon Partridge replaced Lauras Maslauskas. In the 80th minute Phil Naylor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Henwood saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd match minute, Heavenly Hooters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edorta Quintas to maneuver through the defense. After 85 played minutes Heavenly Hooters got a freekick which was hit by Jon Partridge. A collision led to Heavenly Hooters getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Lico Aldazabal hit a great ball. With a little luck, Heavenly Hooters's Will Goldthorpe got control of the ball when Huey Brodie tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tony Henwood came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Heavenly Hooters's Don Mabbutt. But to his dismay, Don Mabbutt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After some careless play in the Staffy Terrier FC defense, Don Mabbutt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tony Henwood. The Staffy Terrier FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tony Henwood should have stopped the shot.

When the referee ended the match the Heavenly Hooters players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
