Oliver Bierhoff could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Haji Sarap made a huge save. ADM Taquaras made a substitution. Áron Bódog replaced Wágner Leme. Tomás Reis made in the 39th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Ronaldinho Gaucho. If Geovanildo Luis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ADM Taquaras's Oliver Bierhoff got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 44th match minute, Joinville City - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Reis to maneuver through the defense. Haji Sarap made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oliver Bierhoff in the 46th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

55 minutes into the match, Oliver Bierhoff notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Joinville City - FSCMZ's Haji Sarap. Haji Sarap was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 61 minutes into the game, Geovanildo Luis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Jeremias Moreno was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Áron Bódog in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Haji Sarap saved Joinville City - FSCMZ from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Áron Bódog in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
