Mainumby's Guaberto Cucao proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Mainumby from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Tractorul Satulung -MM- booed when Mainumby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nunez Gizon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Amancio Intxixu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alper Benli in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guaberto Cucao saved Mainumby from getting behind. Alper Benli kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Mainumby's goal looked a bit too open when Alper Benli came free, but Guaberto Cucao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Alper Benli got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Guaberto Cucao quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alper Benli in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guaberto Cucao prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Panait Vâtcu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adan Gonza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adan Gonza in the 44th minute of play forced Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s goalkeeper Panait Vâtcu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Guaberto Cucao managed to avoid a goal in the 46thth minute, when Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s Alper Benli fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Panait Vâtcu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonatan Heriberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 67 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nunez Gizon was slow to take the kick. During this time Mainumby's players had a chance to rest. Mainumby's Dante Sidro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Panait Vâtcu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Claudiu Bumba took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guaberto Cucao. Guaberto Cucao dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0.
