Lucílio Bentes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urki Miras, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Joaquin Loredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Mauro Vallines fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ornopata's protests and gave Mauro Vallines a yellow card for diving instead. After 11 played minutes Ornopata got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Vallines. Joaquin Loredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucílio Bentes having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Oñatibia in the 16th minute of play forced Valadas's goalkeeper Lucílio Bentes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, Wiktor Björnsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ornopata fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urki Miras in the 24th minute of play forced Valadas's goalkeeper Lucílio Bentes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valadas's Lucílio Bentes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Oñatibia in the 25th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicolau Pedroso during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 26 minutes into the match, Daniel Oñatibia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lucílio Bentes. Valadas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Oñatibia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Humberto Abrantes hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute Urki Miras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucílio Bentes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucílio Bentes came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Ornopata's Urki Miras. But to his dismay, Urki Miras quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. 41 minutes into the match, Daniel Oñatibia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lucílio Bentes. Valadas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Oñatibia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Lucílio Bentes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joaquin Loredo went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. The Valadas players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ornopata were winning 0-8.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joaquin Loredo was the one to do the kick off. Lucílio Bentes made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Joaquin Loredo sent off a good shot on target. When Ornopata's Pipo Inzaghi in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Valadas's goalie prevented a goal. Lucílio Bentes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wiktor Björnsson in the 57th minute of the match. In the 58th minute Wilson Castelo Branco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xan Descapa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute, Wilson Castelo Branco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Xan Descapa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-8. Joaquin Loredo scored 1-9 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lucílio Bentes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jorge Vilalobos during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jorge Vilalobos hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Joaquin Loredo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Lucílio Bentes made a huge save. Lucílio Bentes came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Ornopata's Daniel Oñatibia. But to his dismay, Daniel Oñatibia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-10. In the 75th minute, Daniel Oñatibia reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lucílio Bentes. The goal made the score 1-11. Joaquin Loredo scored 1-12 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lucílio Bentes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 83 minutes into the match, Joaquin Loredo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lucílio Bentes, 1-13. 89 minutes into the game, Ornopata's Joaquin Loredo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lucílio Bentes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-15. In the 93rd minute of the match Valadas got a corner. Ornopata's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Micael Macedo ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Micael Macedo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Xan Descapa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Lucílio Bentes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wiktor Björnsson in the 95th minute of play. Valadas's defense didn't have a chance, in the 97th minute, when Joaquin Loredo scored to the left of an out of position Lucílio Bentes, making the score, 1-16. Ornopata's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
