With a couple of smart ball manuevers Habib Ali Picavea in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonatan Enekoitz saved Monte Hermoso Beach from getting behind. In the 16th minute Kaká Sampaio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonatan Enekoitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albano Cambranes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Gláuber Brodel made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Morro Grande E.C's Elói Penha got a free kick in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Cordeara in the 28th minute of play forced Morro Grande E.C's goalkeeper Gláuber Brodel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th match minute, Morro Grande E.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elói Penha to maneuver through the defense. Victor Cordeara, 30 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Jonatan Enekoitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hélder Velasco in the 37th minute of the match. After 40 played minutes Morro Grande E.C got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Ramalho. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albano Cambranes in the 41st minute of play forced Morro Grande E.C's goalkeeper Gláuber Brodel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute of the match, Albano Cambranes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gláuber Brodel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 45th minute, Ronaldinho Meira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Gláuber Brodel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Monte Hermoso Beach getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. In the 69th match minute, Morro Grande E.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toninho Grau to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes into the match, Gregorio Bastian had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gláuber Brodel. Morro Grande E.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gregorio Bastian was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Monte Hermoso Beach's zone, Ronaldinho Meira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonatan Enekoitz came out of the goal and Ronaldinho Meira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 87 minutes into the match, Morro Grande E.C's goal looked a bit too open when Gregorio Bastian came free, but Gláuber Brodel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Habib Ali Picavea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Jonatan Enekoitz made a huge save. The supporters of Monte Hermoso Beach booed when Morro Grande E.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christiano Trevisan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Monte Hermoso Beach were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Morro Grande E.C for a fine match.
