A collision led to Monte Hermoso Beach getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Albano Cambranes hit a great ball. Filomeno Ranolfo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albano Cambranes in the 12th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Honorio Arias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Filomeno Ranolfo. Leones FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Honorio Arias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Filomeno Ranolfo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Napier, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After 22 minutes, Erubiel Bilintx mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Monte Hermoso Beach and the Leones FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 22 played minutes Monte Hermoso Beach got a freekick which was hit by Erubiel Bilintx. Filomeno Ranolfo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorio Arias in the 30th minute of the match. Filomeno Ranolfo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Arotza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filomeno Ranolfo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorio Arias in the 34th minute of play. Oscar Artal made in the 35th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Leones FC's Bonifacio Mon. 41 minutes into the match, Leones FC's goal looked a bit too open when Honorio Arias came free, but Filomeno Ranolfo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd match minute, Leones FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Cayo to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute, Erubiel Bilintx made a precise shot to the right of Filomeno Ranolfo. Leones FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Monte Hermoso Beach's Anastasio Enol was substituted for Erubiel Bilintx. Monte Hermoso Beach made a substitution. Maximo Lico replaced Benjamin Arotza. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gregorio Bastian to make the kick off. Victor Cordeara struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Filomeno Ranolfo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monte Hermoso Beach. Leones FC's Filomeno Ranolfo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Leones FC from getting a goal against them. Filomeno Ranolfo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anastasio Enol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 59th minute of the game. One of Leones FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Monte Hermoso Beach:s goal. The referee gave Monte Hermoso Beach a penalty, 62 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Victor Cordeara, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Leones FC's Filomeno Ranolfo. 0-4. With a little luck, Leones FC's Filomeno Ranolfo got control of the ball when Honorio Arias tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 66th minute, Monte Hermoso Beach's Gregorio Bastian dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. 70 minutes into the game, Damian Napier recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Filomeno Ranolfo. Damian Napier showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. After 74 minutes of play, Monte Hermoso Beach's Anastasio Enol made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Filomeno Ranolfo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 77 minutes into the game, Oscar Artal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Monte Hermoso Beach's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leones FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Monte Hermoso Beach's Oscar Artal got a free kick in the 78th minute. Filomeno Ranolfo came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Monte Hermoso Beach's Honorio Arias. But to his dismay, Honorio Arias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. Filomeno Ranolfo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 89th minute, which inside left pole to 0-9. After 92 played minutes Leones FC got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Eutropio. Gaston Totakoxe kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Damian Napier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 100th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filomeno Ranolfo having to interfere. When the match was over Monte Hermoso Beach could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Leones FC throughout the match.
