In the 17th minute of the match Huỳnh Thuy sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hernani da Rocha skillfully saved the ball. Hoàng Nghiêm-Minh made an important save on a dangerous shot by Júlio Fantini in the 19th minute. With a little luck, FC Dalin's Hoàng Nghiêm-Minh got control of the ball when Giovani Pirani tried to sneak it across the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, FC Dalin's Huỳnh Thuy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hernani da Rocha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Giovani Pirani to strike the kick off in the second half. When Võ Bien came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the FC Dalin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Võ Bien couldn't finish the play. Võ Bien blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hernani da Rocha having to make a save. A collision led to FC Dalin getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Huỳnh Thuy hit a great ball. Hoàng Nghiêm-Minh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Albuquerque, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. When Igor Albuquerque fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AC Korban's protests and gave Igor Albuquerque a yellow card for diving instead. In the 89th match minute, AC Korban was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Albuquerque to maneuver through the defense.
