The Devoto club social fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pavel Chivu should have stopped the shot. Lara Mendaña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Pavel Chivu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute Lara Mendaña shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pavel Chivu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pavel Chivu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Pavel Chivu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lisandro Masses, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. A nice corner shot did that Urre Villoria got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pavel Chivu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The Devoto club social players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. RomoLerouX UniteD UXX were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gaby Batistuta to make the kick off. In the 50th of the match, Ronaldo Romo-Leroux tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Pavel Chivu got in the way and made a wonderful save. In the 90th minute of the match, Iachetti Ucles tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pavel Chivu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
