The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Feliciano Licerio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Ildefonso Gaizko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Rene Abadia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ildefonso Gaizko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliciano Licerio in the 15th minute of play. Rene Abadia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Ildefonso Gaizko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. &La vieja Guardia&'s Ildefonso Gaizko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliciano Licerio in the 21st minute of play. After a rather tough play, &La vieja Guardia&'s Ramon Baleren got a free kick in the 24th minute. Primitivo Maria took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ildefonso Gaizko. &La vieja Guardia&'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Inocencio Aresti hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliciano Licerio in the 30th minute of play forced &La vieja Guardia&'s goalkeeper Ildefonso Gaizko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ildefonso Gaizko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio Txerran, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 36 minutes into the match, &La vieja Guardia&'s goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Xacintu came free, but Ildefonso Gaizko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sixto Teyo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Arnaldo Tercero made a huge save. Feliciano Licerio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ildefonso Gaizko having to interfere. Sixto Teyo charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sixto Teyo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 45th match minute, &La vieja Guardia& was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sixto Teyo to maneuver through the defense. Ildefonso Gaizko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erubiel Jusepe, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

The wind increased when Fabio Txerran made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, &La vieja Guardia&'s Ildefonso Gaizko got control of the ball when Erubiel Jusepe tried to sneak it across the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, &La vieja Guardia&'s goalkeeper Ildefonso Gaizko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Feliciano Licerio. In the 58th minute Camilo Venerando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo Tercero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Camilo Venerando in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnaldo Tercero saved CA INCAS from getting behind. 64 minutes into the match, &La vieja Guardia&'s goalkeeper Ildefonso Gaizko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabio Txerran. Angel Eli kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Erubiel Jusepe's late challenge caught a &La vieja Guardia&'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erubiel Jusepe helped the player get up and apologised. In the 76th minute, Erubiel Jusepe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabio Txerran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ildefonso Gaizko having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, Primitivo Maria sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Ildefonso Gaizko threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Primitivo Maria this time. After a rather tough play, CA INCAS's Vinicio Perico got a free kick in the 85th minute. During the 87th minute of the match Sixto Teyo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Sixto Teyo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Eduardo Xacintu hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. The &La vieja Guardia& fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. CA INCAS were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
