In the 18th minute Alphonse Keita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ildefonso Gaizko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, FC Saubrigues's Faudel Langlois dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. &La vieja Guardia&'s Ildefonso Gaizko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alphonse Keita in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, FC Saubrigues's goal looked a bit too open when Sixto Teyo came free, but Paulo Dubernard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sixto Teyo kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Paulo Dubernard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sixto Teyo, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Everardo Cortez hit a great ball. Paulo Dubernard didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Godfredo Hever went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Everardo Cortez charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Everardo Cortez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FC Saubrigues booed when &La vieja Guardia& was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Everardo Cortez didn't get a good kick on the ball. &La vieja Guardia&'s Ildefonso Gaizko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alphonse Keita in the 69th minute of play. FC Saubrigues had played much better football throughout.
