Edgard Sanez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. If Gomez Querijazu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th match minute, Atlético Bucaramanga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Perico Luengo to maneuver through the defense. Hitz Urdiales took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jurgi Vianes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jurgi Vianes in the 41st minute of play forced Atlético Bucaramanga's goalkeeper Hitz Urdiales to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute, Bento Areces hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Atlético Bucaramanga's Florinio Turrilla was substituted for Tono Ballugera. Anastasio Severino really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. Jurgi Vianes's late challenge caught a Atlético Bucaramanga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jurgi Vianes helped the player get up and apologised. After 96 played minutes RAMBO FC got a freekick which was hit by Jurgi Vianes. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Atlético Bucaramanga had won after a very even match.
