After a rather tough play, VERDOLAGA CITY FC's Idacio Llopiz got a free kick in the 6th minute. Eyague Bergues hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After 12 minutes of play, Atlético Municipal's Larra Sevilla made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nazario Forcat was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nazario Forcat made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Llorienzo Salado sent off a good shot on target. 15 minutes into the game, Dacio Bonilla was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. VERDOLAGA CITY FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atlético Municipal the free kick. In the 17th match minute, VERDOLAGA CITY FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rocio Camerin to maneuver through the defense. Nazario Forcat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Llorienzo Salado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nazario Forcat made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Zuhaitz Periceira sent off a good shot on target. Gutierrre Camacho kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Atlético Municipal's Bastiaro Fresco shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 33rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Nazario Forcat but with some difficulty. Larra Sevilla kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 37th minute of the match Idacio Llopiz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Basilio Munet showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Atlético Municipal booed when VERDOLAGA CITY FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastiano Torrienta didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zuhaitz Periceira to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes Atlético Municipal got a freekick which was hit by Larra Sevilla. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético Municipal's zone, Perfecto Ascargorta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Basilio Munet came out of the goal and Perfecto Ascargorta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 55th minute of the match, Terciero Orantes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Basilio Munet saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 57 played minutes VERDOLAGA CITY FC got a freekick which was hit by Dacio Bonilla. Nazario Forcat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zuhaitz Periceira in the 64th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Atlético Municipal's Larra Sevilla got a free kick in the 66th minute. Atlético Municipal made a substitution. Sidro Freyle replaced Caetano Diz. The long shot by Idacio Llopiz in the 68th minute really tested Basilio Munet's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Basilio Munet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Efrain Caballero, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Nazario Forcat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erubiel Solanos in the 76th minute of play. Perfecto Ascargorta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 84th minute, Llorienzo Salado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nazario Forcat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zuhaitz Periceira in the 86th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urtzi Megia in the 87th minute of play forced VERDOLAGA CITY FC's goalkeeper Nazario Forcat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atlético Municipal were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of VERDOLAGA CITY FC for a fine match.
