After a defensive mix-up in R.B Leipzig's zone, Duarte Colmenero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Haimar Traves came out of the goal and Duarte Colmenero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Xurxo Ranero hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Bartoleme Terrazos scored 0-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elivareo Peralves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. RAMBO FC's Elivareo Peralves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Firmo Tigero in the 44th minute of play. Anastasio Severino might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Haimar Traves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anastasio Severino ran back to his position shaking his head. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alvarez Troconiz was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Xamin Nogueira dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Elivareo Peralves, 0-2.
