When Silverio Prior fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Pepe Burrón's protests and gave Silverio Prior a yellow card for diving instead. In the 20th minute, Silverio Prior hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd minute Lluis Pavieta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zunbeltz Bilbao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Jeraldo Orruma took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Edgard Erauso to make any attempt to save it. After 29 played minutes Deportivo ScrugenFC got a freekick which was hit by Rainerio Uria. The audience was convinced that Lluis Pavieta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zunbeltz Bilbao was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. FC Pepe Burrón's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The FC Pepe Burrón supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Deportivo ScrugenFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Deportivo ScrugenFC.
