When Pueblo Puerta came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the ATLETICO HUILA F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pueblo Puerta couldn't finish the play. If Brun Mugica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute Kusko Borica shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theobald Manjon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Valle Saron defense, Bonifaco Sovera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Theobald Manjon. The Valle Saron fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Theobald Manjon should have stopped the shot. After 41 played minutes Valle Saron got a freekick which was hit by Rosio Aranzana. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Bonifaco Sovera managed to get in a good position for a shot. ATLETICO HUILA F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Bonifaco Sovera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Theobald Manjon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Kusko Borica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Valle Saron players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ATLETICO HUILA F.C were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Arano Esparza made the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Pueblo Puerta dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Theobald Manjon, 0-2. In the 60th minute Arano Esparza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beltza Morell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd match minute, Valle Saron was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guib Martijana to maneuver through the defense. Beltza Morell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arano Esparza, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Donzel Barbanera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Beltza Morell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Raymundo Castellana had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Beltza Morell. ATLETICO HUILA F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raymundo Castellana was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Kusko Borica struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Theobald Manjon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ATLETICO HUILA F.C. ATLETICO HUILA F.C's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
