Juan Corredor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez having to make a save. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind RAMBO FC's goalkeeper Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Silban Argomedo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. After 7 played minutes MILLONARIOS FC got a freekick which was hit by Teofilo Goitia. Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patxi Palenzuela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Juan Corredor managed to get in a good position for a shot. MILLONARIOS FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Juan Corredor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, RAMBO FC's Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez got control of the ball when Juan Corredor tried to sneak it across the goal line. Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juan Corredor in the 17th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Patxi Palenzuela stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Juan Corredor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Corredor in the 52nd minute of play forced RAMBO FC's goalkeeper Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Videl Mauriz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Juan Corredor might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juan Corredor ran back to his position shaking his head. Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Corredor in the 62nd minute of play. Juan Corredor struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MILLONARIOS FC. In the 67th minute Juan Corredor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute MILLONARIOS FC were awarded a corner. Ruud van Nistelrooij went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led MILLONARIOS FC's Ruud van Nistelrooij to fire away a dangerous shot which Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juan Corredor went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Juan Corredor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ruud van Nistelrooij was slow to take the kick. During this time MILLONARIOS FC's players had a chance to rest. MILLONARIOS FC's Ruud van Nistelrooij was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by MILLONARIOS FC's Juan Corredor. But to his dismay, Juan Corredor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1.
