The crowd rose to their feet as Henk Veerman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Severiano Rafe. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. John de Jong made a great header on Älta BK's corner, it was just that Madison's Severiano Rafe managed to reach the ball for a save. Severiano Rafe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henk Veerman in the 14th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Fan Nan Hong's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Severiano Rafe was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Cristo Leoncio charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Madison's Severiano Rafe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Madison from getting a goal against them. 25 minutes into the match, Madison's goalkeeper Severiano Rafe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Henk Veerman. Severiano Rafe made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Henk Veerman sent off a good shot on target. Älta BK's David Trulsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benito Naldo in the 29th minute of play. The throw-in from Cristo Leoncio in the 30th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Älta BK's Juan Abarca. 31 minutes into the match, Henk Veerman dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Severiano Rafe, 3-0. Henk Veerman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Severiano Rafe having to make a save. Madison's Severiano Rafe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Madison from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Henk Veerman took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Severiano Rafe to make any attempt to save it. Madison's Severiano Rafe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Madison from getting a goal against them. David Trulsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evelio Javiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Severiano Rafe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henk Veerman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fan Nan Hong was the one to do the kick off. In the 50th minute, Henk Veerman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Severiano Rafe was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Henk Veerman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by Madison's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. John de Jong was slow to take the kick. During this time Älta BK's players had a chance to rest. Älta BK's John de Jong was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Severiano Rafe in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Severiano Rafe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Yahya Şamil in the 66th minute of the match. After 72 minutes of play, Älta BK's Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Severiano Rafe was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Severiano Rafe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 78th minute, Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink made a precise shot to the right of Severiano Rafe. Madison's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. Madison made a substitution. Faustino Avellaneda replaced Camilo Peru. Madison's Severiano Rafe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink in the 83rd minute of play. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Madison's goalkeeper Severiano Rafe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 90 minutes, Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink made it 9-0 with a short kick to the right side. Madison's Severiano Rafe tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 93rd minute Marko Alströmmer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severiano Rafe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the game, Älta BK's Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Severiano Rafe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Älta BK fully deserved thier win.
