Austin Deery's late challenge caught a FC LEVSKI ОК's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Austin Deery helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, 1948 MKS's Austin Deery got a free kick in the 3rd minute. FC LEVSKI ОК's Johnny Depp got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 8th minute by Johnny Depp got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. FC LEVSKI ОК's Lulcho Komsalov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patty McGlynn in the 15th minute of play. After 17 minutes, Venko Devenski made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. 1948 MKS's Hickey Dunne tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Hickey Dunne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Mutafchiev in the 23rd minute of play. After 29 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for 1948 MKS! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brannan McLaughlin in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lulcho Komsalov saved FC LEVSKI ОК from getting behind. In the 32ndth minute of the game Brannan McLaughlin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC LEVSKI ОК's Lulcho Komsalov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Mutafchiev in the 39th minute of play forced 1948 MKS's goalkeeper Hickey Dunne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antonio Mutafchiev in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hickey Dunne prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lulcho Komsalov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patty McGlynn in the 42nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baoithin Doherty in the 44th minute of play forced FC LEVSKI ОК's goalkeeper Lulcho Komsalov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Venko Devenski to strike the kick off in the second half. After 57 played minutes 1948 MKS got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Doherty. The referee ignored 1948 MKS's protests and gave Brannan McLaughlin a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, 1948 MKS's Brannan McLaughlin got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 92nd minute, Emil Velev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute Baoithin Doherty shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lulcho Komsalov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC LEVSKI ОК had played much better football throughout.
