In the 5th minute Baoithin Doherty shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Benavente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th minute Patty McGlynn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Benavente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Menéndez Mallea got free with Hickey Dunne in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gandalf Szarpak scored 0-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Samuel Benavente, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baoithin Doherty in the 22nd minute of play forced Assueko F.C.'s goalkeeper Samuel Benavente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th match minute, Assueko F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maxi López to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute, Patty McGlynn made a precise shot to the right of Samuel Benavente. Assueko F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Samuel Benavente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gandalf Szarpak in the 36th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baoithin Doherty in the 38th minute of play forced Assueko F.C.'s goalkeeper Samuel Benavente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peyton Sheridan kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Xavián Cacho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hickey Dunne having to interfere. Samuel Benavente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brannan McLaughlin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half 1948 MKS were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmundo Pastene made a kick off. Gandalf Szarpak charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gandalf Szarpak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Benedict Zech kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. When Estebano Levenier came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Assueko F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Estebano Levenier couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, 1948 MKS's Patty McGlynn got a free kick in the 58th minute. Barhan Barrett hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the game, Patty McGlynn was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 1948 MKS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Assueko F.C. the free kick. In the 61st minute, Patty McGlynn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patty McGlynn in the 65th minute of play forced Assueko F.C.'s goalkeeper Samuel Benavente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hickey Dunne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Pastene, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 1948 MKS's Hickey Dunne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Pastene in the 69th minute of play. Brannan McLaughlin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Benavente having to interfere. Samuel Benavente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brannan McLaughlin in the 75th minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Brannan McLaughlin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Samuel Benavente, 0-3. When Brannan McLaughlin came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the 1948 MKS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brannan McLaughlin couldn't finish the play. Samuel Benavente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brannan McLaughlin, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Samuel Benavente was a little too slow when Patty McGlynn got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 0-5. After some careless play in the Assueko F.C. defense, Patty McGlynn kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Samuel Benavente. The Assueko F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Samuel Benavente should have stopped the shot. 1948 MKS played a much better game than Assueko F.C. and deserved their victory. The Assueko F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
