After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Stanislav Hajduk managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Kopeto's supporters rose to their feet, but Stanislav Hajduk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clemente Peli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Henrich Suchomel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Clemente Peli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. FC Kopeto's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Henrich Suchomel in the 9th minute. Clemente Peli came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Kopeto's Henrich Suchomel. But to his dismay, Henrich Suchomel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Henrich Suchomel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Clemente Peli made a huge save. In the 21st match minute, FC Kopeto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stanislav Hajduk to maneuver through the defense. After 28 minutes, Luis Elorri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guiñazú FC and the FC Kopeto players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th match minute, Guiñazú FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Elorri to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, Guiñazú FC's goalkeeper Clemente Peli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martin Macourek. The supporters of FC Kopeto booed when Guiñazú FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Casimiro Cebo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clemente Peli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stanislav Hajduk in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guiñazú FC's goalkeeper Clemente Peli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Stanislav Hajduk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Clemente Peli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jiří Slanec made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, FC Kopeto's Henrich Suchomel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Clemente Peli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Guiñazú FC's Clemente Peli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrich Suchomel in the 62nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Jiří Slanec's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Clemente Peli was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. FC Kopeto's Martin Macourek got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 67th minute Henrich Suchomel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Peli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Henrich Suchomel got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Clemente Peli quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jiří Slanec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Peli having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrich Suchomel in the 74th minute of play forced Guiñazú FC's goalkeeper Clemente Peli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henrich Suchomel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Peli having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Francisco Paul hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard and well directed shot from Tomáš Berousek led 84 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Guiñazú FC's Clemente Peli became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 3-0. In the 87th minute, Dan Sviták got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 91 played minutes Guiñazú FC got a freekick which was hit by Casimiro Cebo. In the 93rd minute Jiří Slanec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Peli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Guiñazú FC defense, Henrich Suchomel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Clemente Peli. The Guiñazú FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Clemente Peli should have stopped the shot.
