After a defensive mix-up in Club Olimpia's zone, Eduard Polozov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dalmacio Caldueño came out of the goal and Eduard Polozov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dalmacio Caldueño didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 16th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Cipriano Hermes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santo Amaro AC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cipriano Hermes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dalmacio Caldueño breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Club Olimpia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Cipriano Hermes scored to the left of an out of position Dalmacio Caldueño, making the score, 3-0. Hudson Arósio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rubio Guardia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lain Villela hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute, Serafin Tajo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jayvier Esquide kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 41stth minute Serafin Tajo beautifully dribbled past Club Olimpia's defense and it looked for a moment as a certain goal, but Dalmacio Caldueño pulled off a phantom save to prevent the ball from scoring on his left hand side.
