In the 25thth minute of the game Mathieu-Maxim Claessens who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Matanza and Steelers's Mané Cabral was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Nilton Capixaba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the match, Matanza and Steelers's goal looked a bit too open when Leon Valkeneers came free, but Mané Cabral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mané Cabral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathieu-Maxim Claessens in the 33rd minute of the match. Mané Cabral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carl Vinckx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A wasted opportunity for Matanza and Steelers. Gillis Heirremans came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Matanza and Steelers's Álvaro de Alcântara. But to his dismay, Álvaro de Alcântara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. With a little luck, Matanza and Steelers's Mané Cabral got control of the ball when Carl Vinckx tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 68 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lions United! In the 70th minute there was a penalty for Matanza and Steelers.
