In the 6th match minute, Oshyros ll was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florencio Cordarius to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th minute, Oséas Falcão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 12 minutes into the game, Aurelio Padro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Yuri Quirino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Al-Fajuth's Yuri Quirino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Al-Fajuth from getting a goal against them. Aurelio Padro came free with the goalkeeper in the 17th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Yuri Quirino could save by the left post. Oséas Falcão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Al-Fajuth's Yuri Quirino got control of the ball when Aurelio Padro tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 29th minute Sandro Maciel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Beat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Oshyros ll's Guillermo Papo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Yuri Quirino. Yuri Quirino yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 37th match minute, Oshyros ll was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Padro to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute Timeteo Pinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Beat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guillermo Papo got free with Yuri Quirino in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 43 minutes into the match, Al-Fajuth's goalkeeper Yuri Quirino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aurelio Padro. Teobaldo Pietro hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After 46 played minutes Al-Fajuth got a freekick which was hit by Vítor da Costa. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Horácio Gonçalves was the one to do the kick off. Yuri Quirino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillermo Papo in the 57th minute of the match. After 58 played minutes Oshyros ll got a freekick which was hit by Teobaldo Pietro. Sandro Maciel's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Elpidio Beat skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After having played for 65 minutes, Aurelio Padro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oshyros ll's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aurelio Padro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yuri Quirino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guillermo Papo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Al-Fajuth's Michel Alvarenga got a free kick in the 81st minute. Sandro Maciel's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 84thth minute, Elpidio Beat skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 87 minutes into the game, Timeteo Pinto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Al-Fajuth's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oshyros ll the free kick. The supporters of Oshyros ll booed when Al-Fajuth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timeteo Pinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Al-Fajuth's zone, Gonzalo Ferro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yuri Quirino came out of the goal and Gonzalo Ferro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Oshyros ll's Elpidio Beat got control of the ball when Sandro Maciel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Oshyros ll's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
