With his leg Blas Seber managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Royal Antwerp F.C.'s Thys Konings fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Nestor Llin kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Thys Koningss short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Blas Seber to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Villa Mitre's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Thys Konings scored to the left of an out of position Blas Seber, making the score, 2-0. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Thys Konings put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Blas Seber.

After a defensive mix-up in Villa Mitre's zone, Thys Konings stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Blas Seber came out of the goal and Thys Konings tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Jan Huybrechts managed to get in a good position for a shot. Royal Antwerp F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Jan Huybrechts was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Blas Seber breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 72 played minutes Villa Mitre got a freekick which was hit by Cornelio Jacindo. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Thys Konings managed to get in a good position for a shot. Royal Antwerp F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Thys Konings was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Puttemas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Blas Seber having to make a save. Blas Seber stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thys Konings's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Blas Seber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thys Konings, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. A collision led to Villa Mitre getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Gaspar Mateo hit a great ball. In the 88th minute Thys Konings shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blas Seber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th match minute, Villa Mitre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eleuterio Beltxe to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thys Konings in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Blas Seber saved Villa Mitre from getting behind. When Victoriano Chabier fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Villa Mitre's protests and gave Victoriano Chabier a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Villa Mitre getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Victoriano Chabier hit a great ball. Royal Antwerp F.C.'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
