An unexpectedly hard shot by Durvalino Carneiro in the 20th minute of play forced Ajax Academy's goalkeeper Dragos Enicov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Espigão Steamrollers's goalkeeper Dênis Paulista had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dumitru Crudu. Dragos Enicov came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Espigão Steamrollers's Durvalino Carneiro. But to his dismay, Durvalino Carneiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After a rather tough play, Ajax Academy's Dumitru Crudu got a free kick in the 29th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dumitru Crudu got free with Dênis Paulista in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Iosif Ciubuc could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Dênis Paulista made a huge save. After having played for 44 minutes, Dumitru Crudu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ajax Academy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dumitru Crudu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Gong Yan Bin notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Espigão Steamrollers's Dênis Paulista. Dênis Paulista was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Yuri Paranaense made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Espigão Steamrollers's zone, Iosif Ciubuc stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dênis Paulista came out of the goal and Iosif Ciubuc tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 51 minutes into the match, Antonio Cacciatore notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Espigão Steamrollers's Dênis Paulista. Dênis Paulista was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Ajax Academy's Dragos Enicov got control of the ball when Ángel Romero tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ángel Romero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dragos Enicov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Ajax Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Walmyr Meira came free, but Dragos Enicov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gong Yan Bin took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dênis Paulista. Espigão Steamrollers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antonio Cacciatore was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-2.
