Tanio Hidalgo ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 21 minutes FC juveMET's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tanio Hidalgo who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Tanio Hidalgo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hüseyin Rahmi Devlet quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aysan Ulutay got free with Cecilio Tenorio in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Lion Messi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Algarrobo's supporters rose to their feet, but Lion Messi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hüseyin Rahmi Devlet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC juveMET's goalkeeper Hüseyin Rahmi Devlet, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 41st minute, Lion Messi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Algarrobo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Tanio Hidalgo kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The supporters of FC juveMET booed when Algarrobo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alcides Cubillos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aysan Ulutay to make the kick off. After 88 minutes of play, Algarrobo's Adolf Eichmann made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hüseyin Rahmi Devlet was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Adolf Eichmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Algarrobo's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
