In the 8th minute Elmer Harjanne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claes Nordmark saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute, Ilmo Möksy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claes Nordmark was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Claes Nordmark was a little too slow when Viljami Virtala got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 3-0. Claes Nordmark showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herkko Virolainen, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. AFC Eskilstuna's Claes Nordmark proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save AFC Eskilstuna from getting a goal against them. 18 minutes into the match, Elmer Harjanne had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Claes Nordmark. Jörn Malmgren's late challenge caught a Liverpool FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claes Nordmark was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Viljami Virtala showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 24 minute of play. Hemmo Hana received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Claes Nordmark came out and tried to block the shot, but Hemmo Hana slotted it home off the left post making it 6-0 in the 28th minute. Ilmo Möksy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Claes Nordmark made a huge save. Claes Nordmark was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Elmer Harjanne capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Elmer Harjanne really showed his touch with that goal: 8-0. AFC Eskilstuna's Claes Nordmark played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viljami Virtala in the 46th minute of play. AFC Eskilstuna's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Herkko Virolainen scored to the left of an out of position Claes Nordmark, making the score, 9-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 9-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
