Nicola Büchel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehmet Emre Mansız, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. City Friseur Wuppertal's Ali Kaan Eryetiş came free and shot a quick shot against goal 18 minutes in the game, fortunately Nicola Büchel had problems saving as it came toward the left post. After 19 minutes of play, City Friseur Wuppertal's Mehmet Emre Mansız made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicola Büchel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nicola Büchel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehmet Emre Mansız in the 27th minute of play. Nicola Büchel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehmet Emre Mansız, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the game, Mehmet Emre Mansız recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nicola Büchel. Mehmet Emre Mansız showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Acar Abanoz charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Acar Abanoz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 45 played minutes City Friseur Wuppertal got a freekick which was hit by Korkutalp Hazarbeyoğlu. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Acar Abanoz in the 51st minute of play forced ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's goalkeeper Nicola Büchel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Franz-Josef Jauch might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abdulkerim Muslera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Franz-Josef Jauch ran back to his position shaking his head. After 66 minutes of play, City Friseur Wuppertal's Mehmet Emre Mansız made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in City Friseur Wuppertal reached it. In the 83rd match minute, City Friseur Wuppertal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Acar Abanoz to maneuver through the defense. Abdulkerim Muslera made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Aleksandar Haltinner sent off a good shot on target. Emir Özdamar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The City Friseur Wuppertal fans cheered their team off the field, for while ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
