An unexpectedly hard shot by Alan Jacinto in the 22nd minute of play forced LARRY FC's goalkeeper Patricio Nofre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patricio Nofre stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zé Paulo Fernandez's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. After 33 played minutes Inter Gala got a freekick which was hit by Sérgio Novaes. Kiko Salles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. One of LARRY FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Inter Gala:s goal. Alan Jacinto scored 2-1 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patricio Nofre, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. LARRY FC's Patricio Nofre proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save LARRY FC from getting a goal against them. In the 47th match minute, LARRY FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Francho to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Urbano Medina was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zé Paulo Fernandez in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patricio Nofre saved LARRY FC from getting behind. In the 54th minute, Urbano Medina ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Naldo Félix was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. After 59 played minutes Inter Gala got a freekick which was hit by Rui Favoretto. In the 68th minute Kiko Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Nofre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 69 minutes, Zé Paulo Fernandez made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. LARRY FC's Patricio Nofre tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The Inter Gala fans' excitement grew in the 91st match minute when Inter Gala's Zé Paulo Fernandez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal.
