Martin Asier hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. 5 minutes into the match, New England Minas's goal looked a bit too open when Gaspar Sabin came free, but Segundo Gol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute of the match, Cory Kirkland tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Baltasar Meder saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 12 played minutes Leones FC got a freekick which was hit by Gaspar Sabin. Baltasar Meder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Cabezon in the 13th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benito Pearce during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 17th minute, Benito Pearce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edgardo Calvino took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Segundo Gol. New England Minas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Clinton Caballero hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After 26 played minutes, Leones FC's Edgardo Calvino shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Segundo Gol came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Leones FC reached it. Benito Pearce could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Baltasar Meder made a huge save. A collision led to New England Minas getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Clinton Caballero hit a great ball. Chris Cabezon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Baltasar Meder made a huge save. 40 minutes into the game, Cory Kirkland recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Baltasar Meder. Cory Kirkland showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Dadá Ponta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Mete Ferro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Martin Asier made the kick off in the second half. New England Minas's Segundo Gol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 50th minute of the match, managed to save New England Minas from getting a goal against them. Segundo Gol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfredo Quinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnaldo Leguizamón hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After 68 played minutes Leones FC got a freekick which was hit by Edgardo Calvino. 69 minutes into the match, Chris Cabezon notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Leones FC's Baltasar Meder. Baltasar Meder was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Baltasar Meder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cory Kirkland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baltasar Meder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cory Kirkland, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. 87 minutes into the match, New England Minas's goalkeeper Segundo Gol had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martin Asier. In the 92nd minute, Chris Cabezon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baltasar Meder was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1.
