In the 22nd minute, 倪杰朋 made a precise shot to the right of Baltasar Millano. 17 de enero team's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. 范青广 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Baltasar Millano made a huge save. 巩青烽 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Baltasar Millano came out of the goal and 巩青烽 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 47 played minutes 17 de enero team got a freekick which was hit by Geronimo Tadzio. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Geronimo Tadzio to make the kick off.
