Valentin Musko kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Amado Galeno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hug Llinás in the 8th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Hug Llinás managed to get in a good position for a shot. Red Hawk Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Hug Llinás was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amado Galeno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Natxo Calatayud took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damaso Orlin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute, Pau Casals had to leave the field with a concussion. Red Hawk Football Club's Ricard Bruguera was substituted for Pau Casals. After 35 played minutes Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Eleuterio Confesor. 36 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Hug Llinás came free, but Amado Galeno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricard Bruguera in the 38th minute of play forced Racing Club's goalkeeper Amado Galeno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 39 played minutes Red Hawk Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Oleguer Domènech. Natxo Calatayud came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Racing Club's Damaso Orlin. But to his dismay, Damaso Orlin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 43rd match minute, Racing Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eleuterio Confesor to maneuver through the defense. Racing Club's Amado Galeno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hug Llinás in the 45th minute of play. After 47 minutes of play, Red Hawk Football Club's Hug Llinás made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amado Galeno was left in no man's land by his defense there! The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hug Llinás made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Ricard Bruguera reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Amado Galeno. The goal made the score 1-2. After 59 played minutes Red Hawk Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Eduard Ferrer. 62 minutes into the match, Damaso Orlin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Natxo Calatayud. Red Hawk Football Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damaso Orlin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. 73 minutes into the match, Peter Maroto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amado Galeno. Amado Galeno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hug Llinás in the 83rd minute of play. A collision led to Red Hawk Football Club getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Peter Maroto hit a great ball. Amado Galeno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Maroto, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Red Hawk Football Club's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
