The audience thought a goal was coming when Peker Uçuk got free with Amado Galeno in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 19 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goalkeeper Amado Galeno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Peker Uçuk. Amado Galeno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dorin Briceag, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amado Galeno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ain Vanatoa in the 24th minute of play. With a little luck, Racing Club's Amado Galeno got control of the ball when Dorin Briceag tried to sneak it across the goal line. Damian Raphael might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ferenc Mészáros. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Damian Raphael ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 29th minute of the match Racing Club got a corner. Castores FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Americo Gaskon ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Racing Club's corner Americo Gaskon fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ferenc Mészáros quite easily take care of the ball. If Damaso Orlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th match minute, Castores FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eurico Infante to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute Damaso Orlin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferenc Mészáros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amado Galeno was a little too slow when Peker Uçuk got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 3-0. Dorin Briceag could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Amado Galeno made a huge save. Damaso Orlin struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Ferenc Mészáros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Racing Club. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Amado Galeno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peker Uçuk in the 54th minute of the match. Germano Macena struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. The supporters of Racing Club booed when Castores FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serter Baydak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Racing Club's Amado Galeno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ain Vanatoa in the 70th minute of play.
