With a couple of smart ball manuevers Demis Mitsis in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Richard Textex saved Newpi Academy from getting behind. After 31 played minutes Green Horses got a freekick which was hit by Loukas Brizolakis. After 32nd play minutes Clemente Neron shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Theodosis Kassapis and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 35th minute, Hector Berart got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Theodosis Kassapis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Berart in the 39th minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Eloy Daunte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Richard Textex made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Fábio Valadão sent off a good shot on target. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Demis Mitsis made a kick off. In the 63rd play minute Clemente Neron came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Theodosis Kassapis. 0-3. Theodosis Kassapis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Didier Drogba in the 67th minute. In the 73rd minute Didier Drogba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theodosis Kassapis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vaios Petridis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute Konstantinos D Artagnan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Textex saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Newpi Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Konstantinos D Artagnan came free, but Richard Textex reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Babbis Markatos fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Green Horses's protests and gave Babbis Markatos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 89th match minute, Green Horses was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Babbis Markatos to maneuver through the defense. Newpi Academy played a much better game than Green Horses and deserved their victory. The Green Horses players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
