The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucjan Giec during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 13th match minute, WhiteSTOCK GriZzllies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucjan Giec to maneuver through the defense. Lucjan Giec hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. With a little luck, WhiteSTOCK GriZzllies's Zbigniew Werra got control of the ball when Tamás Lányi tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 21st match minute, Sporting Savaria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dávid Núñez to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Bogdan Furtok managed to get in a good position for a shot. WhiteSTOCK GriZzllies's supporters rose to their feet, but Bogdan Furtok was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Márton Gombos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Tamás Lányi put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Zbigniew Werra. WhiteSTOCK GriZzllies were furious when Wojciech Podolski was red carded, 32 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Ferenc Beckenbauer was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 34th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The supporters of WhiteSTOCK GriZzllies booed when Sporting Savaria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lázár Szőnyi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute Bogdan Furtok shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Márton Gombos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. WhiteSTOCK GriZzllies's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Tamás Lányi 43 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

In the 58thth minute of the game Dávid Núñez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but WhiteSTOCK GriZzllies's Zbigniew Werra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. WhiteSTOCK GriZzllies's Zbigniew Werra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tamás Lányi in the 63rd minute of play. Tamás Lányi might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zbigniew Werra. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tamás Lányi ran back to his position shaking his head. Zbigniew Werra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tamás Lányi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 73 minutes, Dávid Núñez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sporting Savaria and the WhiteSTOCK GriZzllies players grew even worse after the yellow card. Márton Gombos acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 74th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Bogdan Furtok. Zbigniew Werra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lázár Szőnyi in the 76th minute of play. Zbigniew Werra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tamás Lányi, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Sporting Savaria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Máté Dénes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sporting Savaria's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
