Miguel Borja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Invictus FC's Wannes De Tapp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermengildo Manni in the 6th minute of play. Lennart De Keyser recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Invictus FC's Corneel Wuyts got a free kick in the 15th minute. The referee gave Real Academia Serengetti a penalty, 21 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gaspar Casomiro, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Invictus FC's Wannes De Tapp. 0-1. After 23 played minutes Invictus FC got a freekick which was hit by Wart Decremer. In the 27th minute, Lennart De Keyser hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Invictus FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Corneel Wuyts hit a great ball. After 44 minutes, Miguel Borja mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Academia Serengetti and the Invictus FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Miguel Borja kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Invictus FC's Wannes De Tapp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermengildo Manni in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lennart De Keyser was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermengildo Manni in the 55th minute of play forced Invictus FC's goalkeeper Wannes De Tapp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the game, Miguel Borja cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Wannes De Tapp was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Invictus FC's Vicente Backers got a free kick in the 72nd minute. 79 minutes into the match, Gaspar Casomiro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Wannes De Tapp, 0-7. When Hermengildo Manni came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Real Academia Serengetti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hermengildo Manni couldn't finish the play. 94 minutes into the match, Invictus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hermengildo Manni came free, but Wannes De Tapp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
