The Pan FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romulo Sal should have stopped the shot. After 14 minutes, Kamal Hamilton-Maurice mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pan FC and the Milferio players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kamal Hamilton-Maurice hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute Ildefonso Marcones shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiburcio Jakue saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ildefonso Marcones in the 19th minute of play forced Milferio's goalkeeper Tiburcio Jakue to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 23 played minutes Milferio got a freekick which was hit by Felix Bemabe. Luciano Nevada took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tiburcio Jakue. Milferio's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 25th minute Ildefonso Marcones shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiburcio Jakue saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Milferio's goalie and right to Arnaldo Cedro. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Milferio's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Carlos Auzqui's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Romulo Sal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Carlos Auzqui had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Romulo Sal. Pan FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Auzqui was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Jeremias Pepillo kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Kamal Hamilton-Maurice got his second yellow card in the match during the 37th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 37 played minutes Pan FC got a freekick which was hit by Kamal Hamilton-Maurice. Pan FC's Romulo Sal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustino Oskarbi in the 39th minute of play. After 40 played minutes Milferio got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Mino. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Milferio made a substitution. Dalmacio Romelio replaced Daniel Palben. The wind increased when Felix Bemabe made the kick off in the second half. Dani Caceres made in the 58th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Dalmacio Romelio. Thanks to some nice moves Ildefonso Marcones could shoot a difficult shot in the 59th minute, which Tiburcio Jakue however easily saved by the left post. In the 62nd minute, Carlos Auzqui ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Romulo Sal was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Faustino Oskarbi hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeremias Pepillo got free with Tiburcio Jakue in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 69th minute, Pan FC's Jeremias Pepillo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. Ildefonso Marcones received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Tiburcio Jakue tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aaron Mino got his second yellow card in the match during the 81st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Milferio's Rodolfo Páez was substituted for Carlos Auzqui. 87 minutes into the match, Milferio's goalkeeper Tiburcio Jakue had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnaldo Cedro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Bemabe in the 92nd minute of play forced Pan FC's goalkeeper Romulo Sal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Romulo Sal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rodolfo Páez went, in the 99th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. When the referee blew the final whistle, Milferio could leave the field as winners, despite Pan FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
