In the 17th minute, Silvio Navia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the match, Club Almirante Brown's goal looked a bit too open when Yan Zhi Chuan came free, but Esteban Kaiet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Raimundo Tupper came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Club Deportes Santa Cruz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raimundo Tupper couldn't finish the play. Raimundo Tupper received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Esteban Kaiet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Esteban Kaiet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Tupper in the 27th minute of play. Severo Venceslas hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Tupper in the 37th minute of play forced Club Almirante Brown's goalkeeper Esteban Kaiet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Club Almirante Brown's goal looked a bit too open when Raimundo Tupper came free, but Esteban Kaiet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esteban Kaiet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Tupper, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Severo Venceslas during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Club Almirante Brown's Esteban Kaiet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yan Zhi Chuan in the 56th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Club Almirante Brown's goalkeeper Esteban Kaiet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raimundo Tupper. If Yan Zhi Chuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Esteban Kaiet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yan Zhi Chuan, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Silvio Navia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteban Kaiet having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guido Bautista in the 70th minute of play forced Club Deportes Santa Cruz's goalkeeper Ilkka Markkula to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ilkka Markkula took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guido Bautista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The tension between the Club Almirante Brown and the Club Deportes Santa Cruz players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Club Deportes Santa Cruz players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
