Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gaspar Valery, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 4 minutes into the match, Pingos Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Fabricio Otsoa came free, but Gaspar Valery reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beat Kellenberger in the 5th minute of play forced Pingos Futbol Club's goalkeeper Gaspar Valery to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After taking down the ball on Divorciados FC's corner Venancio Oxarra fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gaspar Valery quite easily take care of the ball. Ezequiel Centurión took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elvio Batistuta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elvio Batistuta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 11 played minutes Pingos Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Laureano Orlin. Ezequiel Centurión took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elvio Batistuta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15thth minute of the game Fabricio Otsoa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pingos Futbol Club's Gaspar Valery was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Divorciados FC were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Pingos Futbol Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Faustino Jaen took the corner. The corner led Divorciados FC's Faustino Jaen to fire away a dangerous shot which Gaspar Valery despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Gaspar Valery made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabricio Otsoa in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elvio Batistuta in the 25th minute of play forced Divorciados FC's goalkeeper Ezequiel Centurión to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Pingos Futbol Club getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Martin Tino hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabricio Otsoa in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gaspar Valery prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gaspar Valery made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Fabricio Otsoa sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Pingos Futbol Club's Gaspar Valery got control of the ball when Fabricio Otsoa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Laureano Irrintzi's late challenge caught a Pingos Futbol Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Laureano Irrintzi helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Divorciados FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Laureano Irrintzi hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabricio Otsoa got free with Gaspar Valery in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Divorciados FC's Aaron Mantzio got a free kick in the 46th minute. Fabricio Otsoa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Gaspar Valery when he managed to save the team from getting behind.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabricio Otsoa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Divorciados FC's Ezequiel Centurión got control of the ball when Martin Tino tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Divorciados FC fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when Divorciados FC's Fabricio Otsoa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The corner ended in Faustino Jaen almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Pingos Futbol Club's Gaspar Valery did a great save. If Fabricio Otsoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 80 played minutes Pingos Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Bernardino Medardo. Fernando Brion blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gaspar Valery having to make a save. Aaron Mantzio's late challenge caught a Pingos Futbol Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
