Matias Demario was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, SAN MARTIN F.C.'s Ernesto Hibai got a free kick in the 28th minute. Gabriel Mendy struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Matias Demario didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alexandrie CF. 46 minutes into the match, SAN MARTIN F.C.'s goalkeeper Matias Demario had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ívan James. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Vasco Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Hulberto in the 57th minute of play. A collision led to Alexandrie CF getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Rodrigo Mora hit a great ball. In the 59th minute of the match Braulio Chago shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vasco Sousa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rodrigue Le Louarn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gabriel Mendy took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Matias Demario. Matias Demario dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Rodrigue Le Louarn charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodrigue Le Louarn the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Guaberto Bela could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Vasco Sousa made a huge save. 73 minutes into the game, Rigoberto Umea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SAN MARTIN F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alexandrie CF the free kick. The supporters of Alexandrie CF booed when SAN MARTIN F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Umea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Merlin Beaudoux took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 74th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Matias Demario.
