A collision led to Heavenly Hooters getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Lauras Maslauskas hit a great ball. Hugo Sikström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brandon Wright in the 5th minute of play. 1-0 became the score in the 6th minute when Leo Bean elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When Robin Söderström came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Sundborn IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robin Söderström couldn't finish the play. Phil Naylor's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Hugo Sikström firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 13th minute Todd Griffiths shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Sikström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stellan Wallmark fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Will Goldthorpe having to interfere. Will Goldthorpe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stellan Wallmark, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 24th minute, Heavenly Hooters's Leo Bean dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 27th minute, Richárd Bódog hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Bean in the 30th minute of play forced Sundborn IF's goalkeeper Hugo Sikström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugo Sikström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Bean, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, Sundborn IF's goalkeeper Hugo Sikström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Phil Naylor. Hugo Sikström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Phil Naylor in the 36th minute. Lauras Maslauskas kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sundborn IF's zone, Todd Griffiths stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Sikström came out of the goal and Todd Griffiths tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hugo Sikström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Phil Naylor in the 42nd minute. Phil Naylor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Hugo Sikström made a huge save. 44 minutes into the match, Sundborn IF's goalkeeper Hugo Sikström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leo Bean. Todd Griffiths struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Hugo Sikström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Heavenly Hooters. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leo Bean to make the kick off. In the 51stth minute of the game Leo Bean who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sundborn IF's Hugo Sikström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Todd Griffiths in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hugo Sikström saved Sundborn IF from getting behind. In the 56th minute Todd Griffiths shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Sikström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 57 played minutes Heavenly Hooters got a freekick which was hit by Lauras Maslauskas. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stellan Wallmark in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Will Goldthorpe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Heavenly Hooters defense, Roy Abrahamsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Will Goldthorpe. The Heavenly Hooters fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Will Goldthorpe should have stopped the shot. Sundborn IF's Kåre Myhr was substituted for Felix Arenstedt. Sundborn IF's Hugo Sikström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Bean in the 76th minute of play. The supporters of Heavenly Hooters booed when Sundborn IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvin Pihlblad didn't get a good kick on the ball. Heavenly Hooters made a substitution. Adrian Collier replaced Lauras Maslauskas. Heavenly Hooters's Zhou Shi Yao was substituted for Leo Bean. After having played for 80 minutes, Todd Griffiths managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Heavenly Hooters's supporters crossed their fingers, but Todd Griffiths was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 90th minute, Zhou Shi Yao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hugo Sikström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zhou Shi Yao in the 91st minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sundborn IF players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Heavenly Hooters.
