Sporting de Gijón's Marcos-Alberto Rojo was substituted for Melchor Rosio. After 48 played minutes PELOTEROS 8°B 2003 FC got a freekick which was hit by Jose Manuel Legrand.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lucio Jose María Cáceres stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Carolo Ovando scored 1-2 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christian Baquedano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 95 minutes into the game, Elpidio Bixintxo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sporting de Gijón's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PELOTEROS 8°B 2003 FC the free kick. A collision led to Sporting de Gijón getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Elpidio Bixintxo hit a great ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sporting de Gijón had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
