In the 10th minute Iordache Ioneasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldo Lartaun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Tacheros de Buenos Aires defense, Gigel Boeru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Haroldo Lartaun. The Tacheros de Buenos Aires fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Haroldo Lartaun should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victor Popilean in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Haroldo Lartaun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Tacheros de Buenos Aires booed when Granicerul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. With his leg Haroldo Lartaun managed to avoid a goal in the 75thth minute, when Granicerul's Gigel Boeru fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Victor Popilean managed to get in a good position for a shot. Granicerul's supporters rose to their feet, but Victor Popilean was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tacheros de Buenos Aires's goalkeeper Haroldo Lartaun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Haroldo Lartaun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Popilean, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 94th minute, Arnulfo Dolcet made a precise shot to the right of Grigore Rânceanu. Granicerul's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4.
